Alice Eve joining the cast of upcoming 'Star Trek' sequel
In what is quickly becoming a recurring feature here in The Juice*, we have more Star Trek sequel news. This time it's the fact that J.J. Abrams has chosen Alice Eve to join the cast as a new character. Because you know how much Star Trek fans like new things.
The Entourage actress beat out I Am Number Four's Teresa Palmer and Captain America's Hayley Atwell for the role, on which Abrams refuses to comment, Variety reports. She doesn't have a deal yet, but that's probably because Abrams is busy trying to convinve Benicio del Toro to come aboard as the sequel's villain.
The paper says there is one more major role to fill, potentially another villain who will support del Toro. Because that's the sequel math these days: Part II gets two villains, Part III gets three, and Part IV means it's time to reboot the entire franchise.
