Angelina Jolie's old drug dealer talks, says she did interview high
Life & Style thinks it has a SHOCKING! cover story about Angelina Jolie's former drug dealer spilling the beans, detailing how she used to do heroin and even did an interview while high, but we can't get too excited. Isn't her drug use pretty well documented at this point? It's hard to get mad at a mom of six who's a UN Goodwill Ambassador.
"We'd see each other two to three times a week when she was in town. She would buy cocaine and also heroin," Franklin Meyer tells the mag about Jolie, whom he met in 1997. He said she and a male friend would buy from him at New York's Chelsea Hotel when she was 21. "She would generally spend about $100 each time -- that would buy maybe half a gram of coke and a 10th of a gram of heroin. She would snort the cocaine and the heroin in front of me. It didn't seem to matter to her who else was there."
He also talks about how her Upper West Side apartment was full of photos of dead bodies, and that she often talked about adopting a child.
"She would say to me, 'I think I would really like to adopt a kid.' I was shocked ... In the middle of the drugs and the knives, she'd be talking about wanting to adopt a child," Franklin said. He added she was at his place getting high right before a Jan. 14, 2000 interview on The Charlie Rose Show and came right back to do more drugs afterward (watch that interview below). Ironic, considering she talked about how her crazy, druggie characters from Gia and Girl, Interrupted had gotten into her head. We're sure this will break up her marriage any day now, just like the rags always say it will.
