Ann Romney turns down 'Dancing With the Stars'
Count one potential Dancing With the Stars contestant out of the running, because Ann Romney has turned down the show's offer to be one of the titular celebrities. It's not like she needed the prize money, anyway.
The former candidate for first lady has said she was a huge fan of the show -- she even said as much on last season's finale -- so when husband Mitt Romney lost his bid to lead the U.S., producers decided the iron was hot enough to strike. TMZ says she even had several meetings with the show to try to work out the hows and whys, but finally decided not to do the show.
"Ann Romney was approached, but she declined. She will not be appearing on Dancing with the Stars," her rep told the site. That's really too bad; She woulda been great viewing for all those people wondering how she woulda decorated the White House and admired her wardrobe. She coulda have just worn her own awesome clothing for the show. She must not have wanted to be lumped in with the likes of Bristol Palin.
