Anna Nicole Smith's boyfriend Howard K. Stern has drug charges dismissed
After a trial so long we completely forgot it was even happening, Anna Nicole Smith's former boyfriend Howard K. Stern had two drug conspiracy charges against him dismissed Thursday by a judge, effectively ending any sort of trouble he'd be getting into. We're betting Dr. Conrad Murray is watching the coverage of that one intently.
Stern and Dr. Khristine Erosevich were in court to request dismissal of the charges against them and to file requests for new trials, E! Online says, but since Superior Court Judge Robert Perry ruled there was no evidence of conspiracy, the whole dog-and-pony show wasn't needed. Erosevich was sentenced to a year of probation and a $100 fine for one charge that was not dismissed (obtaining a prescription under a false name), while Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who was also in trouble for allegedly providing illegal prescriptions to the late Playboy Playmate, was previously acquitted.
