ANTM update: Tahlia Brookins is pregnant, Paulina Porizkova is fired

Tbd-tahliabrookins051409 Just in time for the season finale of Cycle 12 of America's Next Top Model, we learn that contestant Tahlia Brookins, a.k.a. the burn victim, is pregnant. That's awesome news, although she's only 18, considering she was told she'd never be able to have children.

"I was told multiple times over and over that I couldn't get pregnant just from my scars holding me back, other physical things going on with my body," Brookins said on The Tyra Banks Show, as broken by Us. "I was always told I was never going to be able to conceive children."

It's uncertain how she and boyfriend David Michaels Jr., also 18, will deal with the pregnancy:

"During the show David and I were together," she said. "Once I got home, he and I started having some complications. Shortly after that, we did break up because we both agreed that we had some stuff we needed to work on individually. So that is exactly what we are doing and still doing."

So while we wait to find out more about Tahlia's baby, we move on the Cycle 13, which will apparently not have Paulina Porizkova as a judge.

Tbd-paulinaporizkova051409 "Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles ... because I am looking for a job," she said on Tuesday's Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. "I was fired by America's Next Top Model on my birthday (April 9)."

The 44-year-old says Tyra and Co. were so classy, they did the deed over the phone.

"The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed that America's Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat, and the fat was me," she said. "So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn't aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem."

More like, she deigned to have an ego as large as Tyra's; remember who the big fish is, Paulina!
