Arnold Schwarzenegger really will be starring in 'The Last Stand'
So much for Arnold Schwarzenegger putting all his acting plans on hold while his family disintegrates: The former Governator has announced he is officially returning to the big screen in the upcoming Western The Last Stand. But since you read The Juice*, you knew that back in April, didn't you?
Arnie's PR guy, Daniel Ketchell confirmed Tuesday the deal was in place, the AP reports. Schwarzenegger will be playing a small-town border sheriff standing between a cartel leader on the lam and the Mexican border. Because that sounds like the proper role for a former Austrian bodybuilder.
Arnold had sworn off acting while he settled things with soon-to-be ex-wife Maria Shriver in May. Perhaps he should have starred in a movie about a secret love child standing in the way of a popular actor/former governor and a comfortable retirement.
