Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Christopher seriously injured in surfing accident
The 13-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver has been convalescing in the ICU after a serious surfing accident in Malibu last Sunday, TMZ reports. Luckily, it seems young Christopher is recovering as hoped.
There's no word on what exactly happened, but the boy reportedly suffered several broken bones and ribs and a collapsed lung. He's been visited by both mom and dad and the rest of his family, so it's nice to see they can come together for this.
"A few days ago our son Christopher suffered an accident at the beach," a joint statement from the couple to People read. "While it has been a very scary week, Christopher is surrounded by his family and friends. He is a brave boy and is expected to make a full recovery."
This should delay court proceedings between Arnie and Maria for a spell, since he was fighting claims for spousal support. At least they can both agree to support their poor son.
