'Arsenio Hall Show' is returning to late night TV
Brush up on your fist-pumping and dog-barking, because Arsenio Hall is heading back to late night. What is this, 1992? We can only hope for an Eddie Murphy appearance in the first episode.
CBS Television Distribution has a deal with the comedian to syndicate The Arsenio Hall Show, which will run Monday through Friday and has already sold in 17 of the top 20 media markets, the Hollywood Reporter said. Yes, Tampa is one of them.
"We're excited to welcome Arsenio back to the family and partnering on his new, late-night syndicated talk show,” CBSTVD president John Nogawski said. "Years ago, he transcended time periods and attracted a crossover audience while bringing a fresh perspective to late night. ... We are looking forward to the same success with Arsenio's seasoned expertise and appeal."
It's been a good year so far for Arsenio, who beat Clay Aiken in the finale of Celebrity Apprentice back in May. Wow, we apparently know what he did with the winnings, then.
