Ashley Olsen has decided she's going to follow in the footsteps of Joaquin Phoenix and quit acting. Because she's been so busy, see.

"I've been transitioning from acting as a kid to doing something that I'm choosing for myself — to be part of the fashion industry," the 22-year-old tells VMAN magazine. "That's what I want for my future. It has nothing to do with my past, nothing to do with anyone else's agenda. And I followed my heart the whole way."

To be fair, she runs two labels, The Row and Elizabeth and James; even Mary-Kate gets involved sometimes: "She's my partner ... but she trusts me with the everyday. I mean, I see her like 10 times a day."

That sounds like more reason to go back to acting than anything.
