Tbdbrianlittrell122308 You may not care about the Backstreet Boys, but find it in your heart to think about singer Brian Littrell's 6-year-old son, Baylee, who was diagonosed with an artery disease, People reports.

On Saturday Baylee was released from a hospital in Atlanta after being diagnosed with atypical Kawasaki Disease, the 33-year-old posted on his Web site.

"Kawasaki Disease causes inflammation in the coronary arteries as well as the walls of the small and medium sized arteries throughout the body," Brian and wife Leighanne wrote. "Unfortunately, Baylee's coronary arteries were affected. He received an IVIG, which is a treatment to bring down the inflammation in his coronary arteries. Baylee will be closely monitored for the next 6-8 weeks by a Pediatric Cardiologist to see if the treatment was effective."

Littrell has battled his own heart condition in the past, having open heart surgery a decade ago to fix a congenital defect. He even has his own charity, the Brian Littrell Healthy Heart Club for Kids. Too bad his own son may need it.
