Beckham reference of the day
So, we're getting a little tired of David Beckham already. We blame the every-sector-of-your-life media saturation that's going on -- we're simply being carpet-bombed by the man's every move. So in that vein, here's a peek at his welcome party in L.A. Sunday night.
With more star power than the Horseshoe Nebula (look it up), David and Victoria attended a swank shindig hosted by best buds Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith at L.A.'s Museum of Contemporary Art. It was a private affair that lasted late into the night, hence our late reference to it (because we don't live on West Coast time).
Also seen at the soiree were a regular who's who of Hollyweird, the AP says, including Ron Howard, Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields, Wesley Snipes, Quincy Jones and the odd triplet of Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. And let's not forget Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, who hammed it up for paparazzi (no doubt to get some kind -- any kind -- of exposure). Now let's move on from Becks, okay?
