Beyonce's pregnancy may delay Clint Eastwood's 'A Star Is Born'
While everyone congratulates Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z on their impending parenthood, one person likely not so happy about it is Clint Eastwood. Well, not that he's mad at Bee and Zee having a kid, but it seems her upcoming package delivery is gumming up the production on A Star Is Born -- which isn't about their new baby, sadly.
Deadline.com says Warner Bros. "could push" the start of production on the musical remake from February 2012 after Beyonce's revelation at Sunday's Video Music Awards, since, you know, she's playing the lead. That could be all for the best, though, because it will give the studio more time to find a male lead, seeing as how Clint's first choice, Leonardo DiCaprio, won't do it.
This remake has been on a simmer for years, so in the end, it probably doesn't matter that it may be delayed. The Juice* suspects this is all a plan by Will Smith to get his daughter Willow the lead, anyway.
