Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie give $500,000 for Joplin tornado relief
It seems like we don't get to have any fun with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt anymore, since they haven't been too crazy. And wouldn't you know, the Missouri native and his girlfriend have donated $500,000 for Joplin tornado relief. Ain't that nice?
The couple gave the cash to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, which supports with rebuilding projects in the region: "With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead," Pitt told local news station KSPR, according to Us. "Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient. The locally based Community Foundation of the Ozarks will be working shoulder to shoulder with these Joplin residents for the long haul as they rebuild their lives."
We imagine those modular houses he helped make in New Orleans after Katrina will come into play here, as well. Man, how nice can these folks be? Get back to the divorce and adoption rumors, we say.
