Brangelina prenup would be worth $270 million
All the Brangelina speculation has kicked into high gear after the couple's engagement, with the latest being Celebuzz's breakdown that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will no doubt sign a prenuptial agreement worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $270 million. It doesn't matter anyway, because the world as we know it would shatter into millions of pieces if they got divorced.
Using Forbes estimates that Brad is worth $150 million and Angie has $120 million to her name, Celebuzz asked L.A. family law attorney Goldie Schon about any possible legal contracts. According to Schon, "The chances of them not having a pre-nup is slim and zip. The fact that they waited this long to tie the knot, you can't imagine that with this type of wealth and this type of stature that they’re not going to protect themselves so that they don’t have a situation in the future."
But while Schon notes it will probably be a "what's yours is yours and what's mine is mine" situation because they are both so famous, don't expect their home life to be altered by signing such a contract. "Nothing is going to change. The reason they are getting married is because of their children. Their children are growing up and they are becoming more knowledgeable of what mommys and daddys are supposed to be." We should hope so, after they had six kids together.
