Brangelina spend $100K a month on NYC suite
While The Juice* and the rest of our Tampa Bay brethren sweat over our monthly mortgage payments (quite literally, in this weather), you’ll be glad to know that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are forking over a mere $100,000 PER MONTH for the privilege of raising their Benetton brood in a 6,000-square-foot apartment in the Waldorf Towers on East 50th Street in Manhattan, the New York Post reports.
Besides five bedrooms (plus a library they’ve converted into a sixth), six bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen, the pad features sweeping views of the island and a hefty security detail. Other perks include room service, maid service twice a day, a 24-hour concierge and even a weekly magic show for their four kids. The only hitch is that while Brad may favor t-shirts and jeans in his off hours, the hotel has a strict dress policy in place in public areas. But that’s okay, since the hotel has an in-house tailor!
The Towers, which has hosted the likes of Winston Churchill, Nikita Kruschev, Queen Elizabeth and every U.S president since the 1930s (not to mention Keith Richards, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cole Porter and a celebutard on the Juice* blacklist whose family still owns an apartment there), was even nice enough to give Brangelina a slight price break on the place, but only after they considered going to the Time-Warner Center instead. Enjoy writing that check to Citizens!
