Bret Michaels back in hospital after stroke
Bret Michaels is back in the hospital after suffering what doctors are calling a "warning stroke," the rocker's website reports. As if that's not bad enough, he also has a hole in his heart. Talk about a bad day.
The 47-year-old headed for treatment after a transient ischemic attack left him with numbness on his left side. That's when he got the news about his cardiac condition.
"There is no doubt that the positive Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) is devastating news to Bret and his family," neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Zabramski says on the site. "The good news is that it is operable and treatable."
That is good news, but there's a definite chance he may not make Sunday's finale of Celebrity Apprentice, or his May 28 comeback concert in Biloxi, Miss. Because that's all anyone cares about, right?
