Bristol Palin suing Levi Johnston for child support
We're in the gossip game here at The Juice*, and what family provided more fodder this past year than Sarah Palin's? That's why we're absolutely not shocked to hear daughter Bristol is suing Levi Johnston for child support for broken campaign promise Tripp. Like we didn't see this coming.
TMZ says Bristol's lawyer filed papers in Alaska demanding $1,750 a month, retroactive to Tripp's birth on Dec. 27, 2008. The suit alleges Levi has made "in excess of $105,000 in 2009 through various media interviews and modeling related activities." Alaska state law specifies a non-custodial parent must pay 20 percent of income up to $105,000, which in this case totals $1,750 per month.
Bristol claims Levi has only given her $4,400 in all -- $3,000 on Sept. 9 and $1,400 on Dec. 19. Johnston's lawyer, Tank Jones, claims his client has shelled out more than $10,000, although Jones didn't say how much Levi makes. Whatever it is, it's too much.
