British Airways hates Joel Madden's tattoos
Good Charlotte's Joel Madden is bashing British Airways via Twitter after officials told him he couldn't board a flight from Chicago to Lisbon until he covered the ink on his arms. Because that's how you recognize terrorists, you know.
"Was just told by a british air person I can't get on the plane till I cover my tatts. Should I fight the power?" he tweeted late Sunday, followed by: "I really actually am in shock, he won't let me on the plane till I put long sleeves on and another BA rep is disagreeing."
Madden later said he complied, but that doesn't mean he was happy about it.
"Yes I covered up to board the BA flight. I didn't want to miss it," he wrote on his blog. "And honestly I was embarrassed all the people were staring and laughing! It's not in the rules that I can find. My tatts arent offensive. Looking into it. I haven't felt this small since the first time i asked nic (Nicole Richie) out."
There are so many double entendres in that last part, we can't decide which to point out. Shameless plug: Tweet your favorites to @tbtjuice!
