Britney Spears talks about security, dates and her kids in latest ish of Rolling Stone
There's further proof that Britney Spears' comeback has solidified with yet another Rolling Stone cover featuring the resurgent singer. But after her meltdown, is the cure actually worse than the disease? Well, no, but she is being watched nonstop.
"We were never left alone together, and my questions had to be submitted ahead of time for approval," reporter Jenny Eliscu writes, according to USA Today. You'd think she wasn't allowed to make her own decisions or something.
Manager Larry Rudolph says that kind of security is necessary, though: "Her job is to be Britney Spears, and unfortunately, that job bleeds into her personal life and creates this odd situation where she needs to have security people around her all the time."
That even includes her dates. Showing that Brit-Brit still can't really form cogent sentences, she rambles on about how she was watched the whole time she went out with a couple fanboys.
"Right when we got there, we just knew it was just bad. He looked like an older version of Harry Potter, but skinnier. … So I had to get dessert first," Spears says, adding that her assistant and one of Rudolph's colleagues joined her. "And the other date I had, the guy was really, really tall and a lot older. … We're trying to ask him questions, like, 'Okay, you're into martial arts, so what kind of martial arts are you into?' And he was like, 'Oh, all kinds.' … But you know how silly we are, so we were just cracking up."
What isn't cracking her up is how ex Kevin Federline is raising her kids, although she does get to see Sean and Jayden more often now.
"(They) are starting to learn words like 'stupid,' and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He doesn't get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but not around my kids."
No, they just got to see mom carted away to the mental hospital. But we totally agree that they shouldn't be around K-Fed. And she is looking tons better, so this latest ramp-up for the Dec. 2 release of Circus (also her 27th birthday) looks to be the holiday event of the year! Good thing she says she's been going to bed at 9:30 every night.
