Britney Spears wants to be a judge on 'The X Factor'
And the winner of the Juice*iest juice of the day is Us Weekly, who says Britney Spears wants to join The X Factor as a judge. Christina Aguilera better be prepared to have her reality music competition throne taken away from her. That'd just be one more thing Brit has one-upped her on.
A source says Britney has asked around about joining Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, which may be possible, considering the way Fox cleaned house last month. Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones were all canned because the show gets great ratings, but not great enough.
This same source says Fergie may be involved, too, and we've all heard Janet Jackson may be in the running. But think of it: If you were on a show being judged on your singing ability, would you really want Spears or Fergie in on the decision? If it was a vacant stare competition or you were trying to win plastic surgery, sure, but singing? They may as well have an autotuner make the calls.
