Brittany Murphy's death ruled an accident; Simon Monjack doesn't know what drugs are

Tbd-brittanymurphy030110 To wrap up things for poor Brittany Murphy, the L.A. Coroner's Office has released the full autopsy report for the actress. It seems that no illegal drugs were found in her system, although she had an entire CVS worth of prescription stuff in her system. So husband Simon Monjack had nothing but measured, somber things to say, right? Well ...

"Although Brittany's autopsy report was incredibly shocking and sad to the family, to me, (mother) Sharon and I both shed tears. We are vindicated in that we always said Brittany never did any kind of illegal substances and that the medication she was taking was the medication found in her system and we hope now that people will understand the legacy of Brittany Murphy and the incredible body of work of Brittany Murphy," Monjack told RadarOnline. "As the most maligned man in America, I hope people realize that they shouldn't believe anything they hear and read and I love my wife as much today as I did on the day I married her."

Actually, if you recall your Juice* way back when, what he said was "In all the time I've known her, she has never, and I repeat never done drugs. Not a line of cocaine, not hit from a joint, nothing. She was anti-drugs. There are no drugs involved." Last time we checked, Propranolol, Hydrocodone, Phenazopyridine, Fluoxetine, Dextromethorphan, Chlorpheniramine and methamphetamines are all drugs. And that's not even all the ones found in Brittany's room when she died.

That would explain why the coroner ruled that while Murphy had pneumonia, "the possible adverse elevated levels of these medications can not be discounted, especially in her weakened state. Therefore the manner of death is accident." That upholds initial findings from early February, including our findings that Simon Monjack is still kind of a jerk.
