Bruce Campbell may be in an 'Evil Dead' sequel, for real
There is probably a 50-50 chance if you are a fan of The Juice*, you are also a fan of the Evil Dead series. So good news, half of you, there really looks like there's going to be a sequel! (The rest of you can move on to the latest about Britney Spears' hair extensions or whatever.)
The folks at DreadCentral.com say a source assured them Army of Darkness editor and longtime Sam Raimi collaborator Bob Murawski was headed to Detroit to work on a fourth movie, planned to be "a small indie thing like the first two" -- also described as a quasi-remake. Then series star Bruce Campbell told a fan via his Twitter account, @GroovyBruce, "Believe in the remake, dawg! The project is real. In the works. Cool as hell. Scary as hell." Uh-oh.
Follow that up with word from Bloody-Disgusting.com that Federico Alvarez, who made the brilliant 2009 short Panic Attack! (so you know he can do cool stuff with hardly any money; watch it above), will be the director for Raimi's Ghost House Pictures and you've got a real news item on your hands. You've got to be careful about those Evil Dead rumors, though; they've been floating around since 2004 and can swallow your soul, if you're not careful.
