The New York Post’s Page Six quotes a Women’s Wear Daily report that says Tom Cruise may be performing a Scientology wedding ceremony for Aussie James Packer, who inherited a $6.5-billion fortune from his late father, Kerry.

Packer, who is apparently quite the church supporter, will wed model/singer Erica Baxter on Wednesday in France, the paper reports. He may be the one who booked two giant hotels on Cote d’Azur for guests and has asked high-level “clear” Cruise to act as officiant. We’d like to call this one out, but The Juice* isn’t on the guest list.
