Capri Anderson gives interviews about night with Charlie Sheen
Desperate for any shred of fame she can recover from her infamous night with Charlie Sheen, porn actress Capri Anderson told Good Morning America and Nightline that she feared for her life while the actor went on a rampage in his hotel room and that she's filing criminal charges of battery and false imprisonment against him. Charlie, meanwhile, laughed and lit another cigar with a $100 bill.
"I never expected the night would unfold the way it did," she told GMA, noting that Sheen hired her as an escort for $3,500 (watch clips of the interviews below). "He definitely was growing more intense as the night grew and went on. It's hard to say being that it was my first time hanging out with him if it was normal of his everyday behavior or not. He seemed like a very egotistical person." So egotistical, in fact, she told Nightline that he offered via text message her $20,000 to keep quiet about the whole thing.
"He apologized for his behavior and for the entire evening, I guess," she said about the text, which came the day after cops hauled him off to the hospital from the Plaza Hotel. "The apology was very simple."
She detailed the night, saying they were drinking in his room when he took a break to snort a white powder (she carefully avoided saying what, natch) -- then things really went south: "He was, from the beginning of the night, very loud and he had no hesitations when it came to using derogatory language or cuss words," she said. "Towards the latter half of the night, it got really bad. He started yelling racial slurs. But it wasn't until he put his hands around my neck that I really thought to myself, you have gotten yourself in a bad, bad situation."
She added in the Nightline interview that he became increasingly violent. "He threw the lamp against the wall in my direction … And once the lamp flew, it was like there was just stuff coming from every angle. He was just, anything he could pick up, he was trashing the place."
But then the cops came and found Charlie ranting while Capri was locked in the bathroom.
"He was calling me a whore a lot," Anderson said. "And he was yelling things like, 'You F-ing bitch. If you don't come out here, I'm going to kill you. If I get in there, you're going to be sorry. If I get in there, you ... whore, you whore, whore. Like he just keep screaming and slamming on the door."
Sheen's camp wasn't too impressed by the whole thing. His attorney, Yale Galanter, noted that she told police everything was fine and is only changing her story to get money.
"We will defend this lawsuit vigorously and will never pay her a dime," Galanter told ABC. "These allegations against Mr. Sheen are completely false, and are a blatant attempt to cash in on his celebrity."
To be fair, she does point out she never got her $3,500. Maybe she should simply bill him.
