Carnie Wilson gets 'Unstapled' reality show on Game Show Network
Here is a series of words we never thought we'd put together: Carnie Wilson, host of the latest version of The Newlywed Game, is getting her own reality show on the Game Show Network (really?). And just wait until you hear the title.
Carnie Wilson: Unstapled is shooting now and will debut in January, the AP threatens. The show, which reference her Internet-ready 1999 gastric bypass surgery, will focus her on her life as a working mom, and hopefully not on the vomit-inducing idea that her stomach is going to burst open.
"I've written two autobiographies and posed for Playboy. I think I've pretty much been out there," Wilson said. But: "This is definitely the most exposed I've ever been."
Don't think there won't be any talk of fat, however: Part of the plot involves Wilson trying to lose 50 pounds after having daughters Luci and Lola. Carnie, when will you realize people don't care about your weight? You were the big one in Wilson Phillips. We're okay with it!
