Casting call goes out for CBS 'Zombieland' sitcom
That Zombieland TV sitcom we heard about in 2011 may actually see the light of day, io9.com reports, because CBS just sent out a casting call for the show. What are the chances Woody Harrelson would be up for playing Tallahassee again?
In a lengthy post, the blog notes that some mile character changes are in store for the zombie hunters, mostly involving learning the backgrounds of the characters and the show exploring Columbus and Wichita living as a couple. Besides keeping Little Rock in the mix, there also will be a couple office workers called Fred and Ainsley who sound pretty oblivious to the whole zombie apocalypse thing.
The show is planned to be a half-hour sitcom format, which will be a nice change from AMC's hourlong tension-fest The Walking Dead. Still, "zombies" and "family-friendly" are really two terms we see used in the same breath an awful lot.
