Catherine Zeta-Jones, James Cameron want a Susan Boyle movie
The story of Britain's Got Talent's Susan Boyle is apparently the feelgood story of the millenium. So good, in fact, that random speculation by the Daily Mail would have us believe that Catherine Zeta-Jones is asking about film rights to the woman's story.
The British newspaper says that James Cameron is interested in a similar project, which would chronicle the life of the dowdy Scot who lived out loud by singing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables in front of Simon Cowell and an audience of millions.
"This is one of many requests we have had to play her, for movie deals and for stories of her life," a rep for the show said. "All these people are coming out and want to be associated with her. She is the biggest thing in the world. It is mental."
The biggest thing in the world? That's not very nice to say; A little overweight, maybe ... And no, Zeta-Jones isn't planning on playing Boyle, her rep said. Darn.
