'Celebrity Apprentice: All-Stars' cast shows up on 'Today'
It's time for the Celebrity Apprentice: All-Stars show, and what a pack of losers they picked. No, really, all of them got fired when they were on the first time, except for Bret Michaels. Kind of takes the shine off "all-stars," doesn't it?
Lil' Jon, Lisa Rinna, Dennis Rodman, Claudia Jordan, Trace Adkins, Brande Roderick, Penn Jillette, Dee Snider, Marilu Henner, Stephen Baldwin and Gary Busey all appeared on the Today show Friday to tout the upcoming 13th season in March. La Toya Jackson was too busy getting mad at Vanity Fair for saying she ransacked brother Michael's house after he died to attend, and Omarosa Manigault, well, we'll cut the poor woman a break after Michael Clarke Duncan died.
Former winners Joan Rivers, Piers Morgan, Arsenio Hall and John Rich will be back as advisers With Donald Trump. Why Michaels isn't with them is anyone's guess.
"There's a different energy with this group. Everybody has been through it before so everyone knows what to expect," Henner said on Today. "We know each other's strengths and weaknesses because we've seen the show. I think everyone is here to have a great time and to support their charities."
And that's how it should be viewed, as a sideshow to raise money for worthy causes. Except for Busey, who's always a wild card. He said he decided to return despite feeling railroaded the first time around, "because I'm a champion." Yes you are, Gary; yes you are.
