Charlie Sheen accidentally tweets his home phone number
In case you're not keeping up with every minor detail in Charlie Sheen's life these days -- and really, who is? -- he caused himself some problems on Dec. 7 by accidentally tweeting his phone number to his 5.5 million followers. He took it down fairly quickly, but not before he started getting phone calls by the gross.
Sheen was reportedly trying to send Justin Bieber a direct message when he accidentally sent it as a public message, the New York Post says. "310-954-7277 Call me bro. C," Sheen wrote via @charliesheen. Don't bother calling, because the number has been disconnected, but not without good reason.
"Charlie's phone immediately went into meltdown," a source told the U.K.'s Daily Mail. "It was ringing wildly, and he got 1,800 text messages in minutes. Charlie saw the funny side and answered the phone a few times, saying things like 'Ray's Pizza' and 'Winning.' But his phone just continued ringing and buzzing and eventually just completely melted down. Charlie was like, 'I guess I need a new phone.'"
What could Sheen possibly want to talk to Justin Bieber about? Our guess is that he wanted pointers on how to score with Disney girls.
