Charlie Sheen faces three charges for allegedly threatening wife
While the rest of the media circus pays attention to the spectacle that is Conrad Murray's court case, Charlie Sheen was quietly charged with three crimes in Aspen, Colo., on Monday. He can go see the wife he allegedly threatened to kill, though.
TMZ says Sheen and Brooke Mueller were at the courthouse, where Charlie was charged with felony menacing, third degree assault and criminal mischief (both misdemeanors), but Chuck didn't enter a plea. The judge did relax a protective order against Sheen, however, so he can now talk to his wife.
On the more law-abiding side, Sheen isn't allowed to drink booze, harass his wife or possess firearms. That must have been enough for Brooke, who hugged him after the hearing. We'll have to wait and see what happens between now and when Sheen goes back to court in March.
