Charlie Sheen gives 10-year-old cancer patient $75,000
Charlie Sheen just had a run-in with the cops, and for once he wasn't being arrested! In fact, Chuck was donating $75,000 to a 10-year-old girl who needs cancer treatment. That's right, we're finally running some good news about Charlie Sheen!
TMZ says Sheen was talking to a Hermosa Beach, Calif., police officer about another officer whose daughter, Jasmine Faulk, was diagnosed with Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of the muscle tissue requiring more than a year of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Chuck said, "No parent should have to watch their kid go through that," pulled out his checkbook the next day and ripped off a check for $75k, made out the the Hermosa Beach Police Association, which had started a fund for Jasmine (you can find the fund's Facebook page here).
Charlie's stunt double Eddie Braun threw in another $25,000, a pretty big deal, because you know Eddie wasn't signing contracts worth millions, then telling producers to go to hell. That's a heck of a holiday gift for the Faulk family. It's almost enough to make The Juice* believe in Charlie Sheen again. It's a Christmas miracle!
