Chris Brown calls Rihanna situation 'difficult' on 20/20
Thankfully The Juice* isn't beholden to election laws, but in the interest of equal time, we're going to watch what Chris Brown had to tell Robin Roberts when his interview airs on 20/20 on Friday. It's not like he's going to say he was glad he beat Rihanna and he'd do it again.
"I never ever had problems with anger. No, no domestic violence with any of my past girlfriends," Brown said in the ABC interview. "I never was that kind of person. I look at it, and it's really, like really difficult. It's like, 'How could I be that person?'"
When prodded by Roberts whether Rihanna's quote that he had "no soul in his eyes" was true, Brown is characteristically evasive: "I was wrong for what I did, and I would definitely say that it's not something that I look past or look over," he said. "It's something that's really, really touchy. And like I said, I'm really sorry for what went down, and what happened."
He also said he was "devastated" by what happened and that when it comes to his ex-girlfriend he "has love for her." How touching; that's the same thing we say about this year's Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad.
