Chris Brown denied entry to United Kingdom
The drama is far from over for Chris Brown, whose career continues to spiral so far down we expect it to make a tiny cartoon cloud any day now. This time Breezy couldn't continue his Fan Appreciation Tour because the U.K. denied him entry. What will all four of those people do now?
"We reserve the right to refuse entry to the U.K. to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offence. Public safety is one of our primary concerns," Britain's Home Office said in a statement to E! Online, noting Brown's legal troubles after pummeling Rihanna. "Each application to enter the U.K. is considered on its individual merits."
That's what happens when you punch your girlfriend, slam her head into a car window and bite her fingers as she tries to fend you off, even if you don't serve any jail time for it.
"Due to issues surrounding his work visa, the Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown's Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed," a statement from his PR folks read. "Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support."
That's much more professional than his now-deleted Tweet via @chrisbrown right after the incident: "SORRY to all the fans in Europe!!! my tour is cancelled. Im pretty sure yall know. my entry was denied in your country. I love you. SORRY!!" We're sorry too, Chris; we're sorry too.
