Chris Brown sentence for Rihanna assault delayed
After waiting all day to see if Rihanna was really going to ask a judge to rescind a restraining order against Chris Brown, the judge delayed the performer's sentencing until Aug. 27, TMZ reports. And here we got our knuckles all lined up for nothing.
Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said she wanted to make brown perform hard labor for his community service, the site says, and there was no plan in place for the state of Virginia. She wants to see the full schedule available from Virginia authorities by the end of the month. Apparently there's a 10 percent gap in how his time will be spent.
Rihanna's lawyer, Donald Etra, stated that Brown hasn't violated the previous stay away order, the site says. That's strange, because we keep hearing reports that they're stealing away to be together at hotels and whatnot. We'll get back to that at the end of the month.
