Chris Martin says "F--- the Olympics" during Boston Concert
Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin could do almost anything and fans (mostly the female ones) would still swoong over his syrupy songs. Like during Coldplay's Sunday night stop in Boston, when Martin got distracted thinking about the Olympics as he was playing Warning Sign on the piano. Anything but Gwyneth Paltrow's dinner menu, right?
"I'm going to stop thinking about the pole vault and stuff like that, and I'm going to get back into it," Martin told the crowd, the Huffington Post says. "It's a big deal. You can't blame a guy for thinking about it every once in a while." The he had to go and "F--k the Olympics. Let's have a great f---ing time in Boston." We have absolutely no idea why he had to say that, but it didn't matter, because the crowd cheered almost as loudly as if the Bruins won the Stanley Cup again.
Realizing he may be the most hated man in the world within the next 10 minutes, Martin tried to retract his statement: "Please don't tweet that I said 'F--- the Olympics...I'll never hear the end of it. Sorry, Chris. We obviously didn't listen. Too busy tweeting.
