Christina Aguilera made $1 million for one-hour Halloween concert
While Lady Gaga was busy being stalked by a ghost in Ireland on Halloween weekend, Christina Aguilera was making a cool $1 million for about an hour's worth of work, TMZ says. That'd be worth missing trick-or-treating with your kid.
Luckily the show was on Saturday and not Sunday: The website says Aguilera was hired by investment kingpin Charles Brandes to perform at his annual Halloween party at his San Diego estate. She raked in $16,666 a minute to sing between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. (plus hair, makeup and travel expenses).
Some sources say that Brandes actually paid $500,000, while other sources stick with the $1 million figure. People we know made about $11 an hour or less working way harder jobs, so who really cares she scored fat bank to work for a whole 60 minutes?
