This Courteney Cox/David Arquette split is apparently the big story of the week -- so much so that a dating website is offereing CC $1 million to sponsor the company. She'll have to fight Jennifer Aniston for that job first.

CougarLife.com has offered the Cougar Town star the seven figures to help them match older women with younger men, TMZ reports. The deal would be for 12 radio ads, four TV commercials and 30 public appearances within the next year. That catch is that Cox could get fired if she's arrested or "conducts herself in a manner that brings herself into disrepute." She has yet to accept, strangely enough.

That may be hard to avoid, seeing as how David's new girlfriend, Jasmine Waltz, is already unhappy that her new boyfriend played off their relationship on Howard Stern by saying they only had sex one or two times since he separated from Cox. Now Waltz is all upset, TMZ says, and is "shocked" he would be so open -- and inaccurate -- about their fling, especially since she claims they had sex waaaay more than twice.

It's all been enough for Arquette to publicly apologize for his openness, saying via his Twitter account (@davidarquette) that he's in the middle of "a process of trial and error," meaning he yammers too much.

"I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I'm experiencing but while doing that I shared too much...it's alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled."

Never mind that TMZ claims Cox talked to David before the interview and knew exactly what he was going to say. What are the chances this is all a PR stunt in advance of Scream 4? The Magic Juice*ball says "Outlook is good."
