Courteney Cox moves on after 'Dirt' canceled

Tbdcourteneycox061108 In a turn of events that appeals greatly to The Juice*'s sense of self-worth, Courteney Cox's FX show Dirt has been shown the door, after a strike-shortened second season.

"It just got canceled," the 42-year-old told TV Guide. The show, featuring Cox as tough-as-nails tabloid editor Lucy Spiller, was about as engaging as watching concrete harden. Seriously, when a same-sex kiss from Jennifer Aniston can't help your ratings, it's time to hang it up.

that's okay, because she and husband David Arquette have their own production company, so no probs.

"We're developing all kinds of stuff right now," she said. "We'll be producing more stuff together, for sure."

That sounds like TV speak for giving up on her career and raising more kids besides daughter Coco, since she blew off her child-rearing years making Friends. But we're just jealous because we've never survived a knife attack or been in love triangles with celebrities.
