Cuba Gooding Jr. no longer wanted by police
If you had visions of Cuba Gooding Jr. being hunted down by police dogs and helicopters after the New Orleans P.D. issued a warrant for his arrest Tuesday ... well, that's just weird. But you'll be happy to know he's not in any danger of spending time in the lockup after meeting with cops over allegations he shoved a female bartender.
TMZ follows up their story about Cuba getting irritated by lookie-loos in a Big Easy bar and shoving a tap-puller twice when asked to leave by noting he met with cops on his own Wednesday. "There is no warrant," his rep told the site. "Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding."
TMZ says he was given a summons to appear in court to address the allegations, but no court date has been released. He's in town shooting the movie The Butler, so for all we know, the arraignment probably already happened, so can we all please just go to the Old Absinthe House, have a drink and calm down already?
