Cynthia Nixon says she doesn't want to make 'Sex and the City 3'
"No, no. I think we had a wonderful ride," Nixon told the Hollywood Reporter when they asked her if she'd be up for a trilogy. "I think it's fine to let it go." Maybe it was the last one's seven Razzie nominations and three wins that convinced her.
Kristin Davis has already said she'd do another one, and Kim Cattrall is sort of non-committal about it all, but Sarah Jessica Parker is all for it, and she's a producer on the series. "I know what the story is," Parker told Parade. "It's a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what's the right time to tell it?"
Maybe when she figures out how to replace Mr. Big, because Chris Noth told Parade he didn't want to go through another one: "I don't see Sex and the City 3 happening," he said, "I'm not disappointed if they don't. I miss the early days before it became sort of a circus of attention, when it hadn't become this iconic thing." At least he has The Good Wife to keep him busy.
