Dark Knight's Christopher Nolan mentoring new Superman
Deadline.com says Nolan has an agreement in place to act as a "godfather" to the untitled Superman 3.0 project Warner Bros. has going. “It would definitely not be a followup to Superman Returns," a source says, noting the franchise would employ the word of the year, reboot. But even Brandon Routh and Bryan Singer from Superman Returns might still be involved.
"Bryan or Brandon are not completely out of it yet. But Warner Bros doesn't have a handle yet on it, either," a source says. "(Producer) Jon Peters is trying to make something happen since he stands to benefit financially. But they (the studio) need to hear a great story that makes sense."
Making sense is a good place to start -- just don't make Superman dark and angry. Meanwhile, we're just glad to hear that Nolan's brother Jonah and David Goyer are busy writing a third Batman flick.
