It only took two episodes, but A&E has decided that David Hasselhoff's reality show, The Hasselhoffs, was just a bit much for them. or not enough. Either way, don't expect it to be on this Sunday.

New York magazine says the network confirms the show has been yanked off the schedule. Whether that's because ratings were bad -- 718,000 for the premiere and 505,000 for the second episode -- or because he's reportedly moving to England to take over Britain's Got Talent from Simon Cowell is anyone's guess. It's probably a little of both.

A&E refuses to call it a cancellation, but with numbers like that, it's doubtful we'll ever see the other eight episodes in the can. At least they had a lot of Gene Simmons Family Jewels reruns to fill up space.
