Desperate Housewives star Ricardo Chavira arrested for DUI

In other arrest news, Desperate Housewives actor Ricardo Chavira was popped for a DUI early Tuesday in L.A. Boy, is Eva Longoria going to be angry about that!

TMZ says the 39-year-old was stopped for a traffic violation around 2 a.m., but got more attention than he wanted when police smelled alcohol on his breath. His field sobriety tests were pretty indicative, but Chaviro refused a blood or breath test, so he was arrested. He was booked into the Van Nuys jail on $25,000 bond.

To be fair, Ricardo is probably very upset his character Carlos Solis continues to get jerked around by Longoria's Gaby. The guy used to be blind, for crying out loud. Boy, that call his wife Marcea Dietzel made to his dad must have been tough -- Juan Antonio Chavira is a judge in Texas.
