DJ AM makes a cameo appearance in 'Iron Man 2'

Adam Goldstein
may be gone, but DJ AM will live on in a cameo in Iron Man 2, the L.A. Times reports. We're sure it's gonna be a super-cool way to go out, right? Well, don't forger this is Hollywood.

Apparently Goldstein, who died of a drug overdose last August, is shown as DJ at Tony Stark's birthday party, where an armored Robert Downey Jr. is shown dancing to 2Pac's California Love. Uhhhh ... And then something action-y happens and Downey says, "Adam, I need a phat beat." And so forth and so on.

That sounds perfectly terrible, but director Jon Favreau swears it's innocuous: "We tried to make it respectful, and for people who know him, they'll get a kick out of it and for people who don't, it will sort of slide by without much notice." You know what else we wouldn't notice? If you just cut that kind of stuff out entirely.
