English woman changes name to 14 James Bond girls
A woman in England is such a stark, raving James Bond fan that she's named herself after 14 of 007's women -- just in time for the release of Skyfall. Don't be surprised if we all catch wind of a marketing prank in progress. At least, that's what we're hoping.
Emma-Louise Hodges, a 28-year-old bartender, has officially changed her name to (take a deep breath) Miss Pussy Galore Honey Rider Solitaire Plenty O'Toole May Day Xenia Onatopp Holly Goodhead Tiffany Case Kissy Suzuki Mary Goodnight Jinx Johnson Octopussy Domino Moneypenny. She's always wanted to be a Bond girl, she tells the U.K.'s Sun, and now she is. No, wait, she's just off her rocker.
"I've always admired actresses like Honor Blackman and Ursula Andress — and the innuendo of some names has always made me giggle," she said. "Ultimately though, I'm a good down-to-earth girl, so I opted for Miss Moneypenny as the main name — even though she's not technically a Bond girl."
She also says she's planning to "find my own suave James Bond." You know, a guy with nothing left to lose, living so far on the edge he's not even fazed by Moneypenny's ability to take crazy to Defcon 1.
