Gawker may have thought it scored a payday when it ran a nude video of Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane, ex-Noxzema girl Rebecca Gayheart and former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche, but they're the ones getting sued by the married couple, People reports. For how much? Try a cool $1 million.

Not that Gawker is worried about getting sued for copyright infringement: "To quote the great Marty Singer – Eric Dane's lawyer – if you don't want a sex tape on the internet, 'don't make one!'" publisher Nick Denton said on (where else?) Twitter.

Singer says in the lawsuit that Gawker was warned that posting the video on Defamer.com violated legal and privacy rights, People says, but they "went on to maliciously distribute an uncensored copy" anyway. Whew; At least The Juice* only wrote about it.
