E*Trade settles 'milkaholic' lawsuit with Lindsay Lohan
Speaking of special treatment for Lindsay Lohan, it seems she managed to milk a little cash from E*Trade for that commercial in which one talking baby accuses another talking baby of having an affair with a third talking baby accused of being a "milkaholic" and happens to be named Lindsay. Let that be a lesson to all advertisers to not dare use a name belonging to anyone else in the world.
"The case between Lindsay and E*Trade has been settled ... there is no further comment," LiLo's attorney, Stephanie Ovadia, told TMZ. She had sued for $100 million, claiming the commercial targeted her and her alcohol-abusing ways (watch it above). Dina Lohan chimed in that "the family is pleased that the case has been settled." The site claims rumor has it Lindsay got some cash from the deal, but no one can confirm that.
"E*Trade has always maintained that the claims were without merit, which is why we moved to dismiss the case. With the case now withdrawn, we are pleased to have the matter behind us," a company rep tells the site. The settlement is sealed, of course, but we can always hold out hope that they settled it by slapping Lindsay in the face.
