Eva and Tony are finally hitched
Don't be disappointed you didn't get to see Eva Longoria's and Tony Parker's glam wedding bash at St. Germain l'Auxerrois Catholic church in Paris on Saturday -- security was so tight hardly anyone so much as glimpsed the happy couple.
With security barriers and black screens in place, the hundred lookie-loos gathered wouldn't have seen the actress and basketball star arrive even if the pair had come through the front, but they went that extra mile for secrecy and snuck in the back door, AFP reports.
They also took great pains to avoid the masses as they sped off afterward for their grand fete at the Vaux-le-Vicomte chateau outside the city.
While the guest list had been kept under wraps, celebs like Desperate Houswives costars Felicity Huffman, Nicolette Sheridan and Teri Hatcher were seen. Others showing up included Jessica Alba, Ryan Seacrest, Mario Lopez (whaa?), Sheryl Crow, French soccer player Thierry Henry and Parker's teammates on the San Antonio Spurs.
And while there was a fuss over the 7/7/07 date, all this was after really getting married in a civil ceremony on Friday!
It's not like you can blame the French, though. AFP quotes Alison Cox, a 25-year-old from Arizona, as saying the couple were being "pretty rude" by demanding secrecy on their special day. "I don't expect them to invite us into the church but why couldn't we at least see them walking into the building?" she asked.
Maybe because you weren't invited.
