Eva Longoria files for divorce from Tony Parker
Well, it looks like The Juice* has to eat some crow, since it looks like our admonition that the gossip press had made up stories that Eva Longoria Parker and Tony Parker were getting divorced was misplaced -- she filed papers on Wednesday, People reports. For the record, The Juice* likes its bird fried, spicy if we can get it. Is it wrong that just once we wanted to be glass-half-full kind of people?
The petition in L.A. Superior Court (not in Dallas, as TMZ said Tuesday and later had to recant) cites irreconcilable differences, but Us Weekly has the scoop. That mag says Eva, 35, found out her hubby of three years had been texting things to a mutual female friend for almost a year. We're talking hundreds in a month's time, so it's not like it was completely innocent.
"Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over," a source told Us. "Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him. She’s inconsolable."
Extra's Mario Lopez managed to sniff out that it was indeed Eva who filed the papers, and that the other woman was the wife of one of Tony's teammates on the San Antonio Spurs. Whoa. Even worse, Eva revealed that Parker once cheated on her earlier in their marriage, and has kept in touch with the woman via Facebook.
