Forest Whitaker will create new TV series
We’ve been fans of Forest Whitaker going way back to his days as Charles Jefferson in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, so we’re excited to hear the Oscar winner has inked a deal with Fox TV studios to work on a new TV series.
The Hollywood Reporter says Whitaker, who currently has seven upcoming movies in the can, will direct and executive produce a drama described as the Sopranos set in the world of arms dealers. After his turn as Kavanaugh on FX’s The Shield, we can’t wait to see Whitaker in action on the small screen again.
